Camp Good News 2023 will be held in July 9-13, 2023 at Camp Rain in Decherd, TN. Camp is for all children ages 8 to 14. The cost of camp is $85 and includes 4 nights lodging, 3 meals a day, and all camp activities. If you have any specific questions about camp you may call 931-691-1251

DRESS CODE FOR BOYS:
Modest shorts, t-shirts, modest sleepwear, tennis shoes, shower shoes or sandals, modest knee-length bathing suit. *Shirts must be worn at all times when out of the cabin and bathhouse. No tank-tops or cut off shirts.
DRESS CODE FOR GIRLS:
Modest shorts, t-shirts, modest sleepwear, tennis shoes, shower shoes or sandals, modest bathing suit. *No short-shorts or skirts, no bikini’s, no tank-tops or halter tops.
DO NOT BRING:
Electronic devices (including CELL PHONES), knives, guns, or any other weapons. Do not bring clothing, books, or any other items with obscene images or bad language.
CELL PHONE POLICY:
Campers are not allowed to have cell phones at camp. In the case of an emergency, parents will be notified asap. If a parent needs to contact their child they may call:
(931) 691-1251. If no one answers, please leave a message or send a text. We will call back as soon as possible.
NOTE TO PARENTS:
To ensure the safety of all the campers, parents are asked to not come to the camp without prior consent.
CAMP IS LOCATED AT 626 Bennet Cemetery Road, Decherd, TN
Money for Camp Store must be turned in at check-in. Unused money will be returned on the last day.
MEDICAL POLICIES
All campers and camp staff must participate in a medical screening at check-in. The medical screening will include a temperature check and a lice check.
All medicines must be turned in to the camp nurse at the medical screening.
